Restoration & Redevelopment of the Historic “Pavilion” in Delphi

Ceci Construction Company undertook and successfully completed the full renovation and structural restoration of the historic “Pavilion”, the oldest and most emblematic café in Delphi, which had remained closed and abandoned for approximately 50 years. Completed in 2020, the project involved highly demanding technical requirements, including the structural reinforcement of load-bearing elements such as columns and beams, slab strengthening, and the complete replacement of the traditional stone roof. To ensure the building’s full protection, specialized cement-based waterproofing systems were applied against moisture, while the entire surrounding area was finished with high-quality stone tiles. Today, this historic landmark has been fully revived, operating as a state-of-the-art conference venue that offers visitors a captivating panoramic view of the Gulf of Itea, Galaxidi and the open sea.
